The Whimar solenoid valve is a very useful tool to automate the administration of CO2; the operation is very simple and intuitive: if connected to the electric network, the solenoid valve "opens" to allow the passage of CO2; once disconnected from the power supply, it closes preventing the passage of CO2.
Therefore, it will no longer be necessary to manually close the CO2 bottle every evening and reopen it the next morning; it is sufficient to mount the Whimar solenoid valve on the pipe from which carbon dioxide passes (or alternatively, directly on the pressure reducer) and connect it to a timer on which a synchronized lighting time with that of the aquarium lights has been set ; the cylinder can therefore always remain open.
