The electronic controller of pH Whimar, unlike similar apparatus is provided with a selector HI / LO, which allows not only to decrease but also to increase the pH value compared to the existing.
Can then be used to increase the pH in the aquarium (for example marine aquarium fish only where the pH tends to fall), a device capable of connecting to the controller, such as the filter integrator PH RW.
High mode:

LOW mode:
moving the selector to "LO", the controller powers the controlled socket when the probe detects a lower pH value than the one selected by us (for example in a marine aquarium where the pH must not be less than 8).
It will be sufficient then to connect to the outlet a device suitable for raising the pH (such as for example a pH filter or a dosometric pump which will deliver a liquid that raises acidity in the tank).
Once the pH has risen above the level set by us, the controller will cease to power the controlled outlet by switching off the device connected to it.
