JBL TorMec Activ pellets are pressed from two peat components with differing humic content. This gives a fast initial effect as well as carefully dosed long-term effect. With its high level of humic substances, JBL TorMec active reduce carbonate hardness and pH levels. 1 l TorMec active 8approx 600 g) reduces the CH in 200 l water by about 5-7 °dH.
When used in soft water, the pH level and CH should be checked regulery. The slight discoloration on the water filters out certain parts of the light spectrum, as in natural tropic waters, and prevents the growth of the algae.
Use:
Fill the required amount of TorMec active from the plastic bag into the enclosed net bag and tuck it into the filter between two layers of filter floss or foam pads. TorMec active will swell in the water by about 30%. Replace after 3-6 mouths, depending on required effect. |
