ATI Supplements Jod, to obtain optimal iodine levels in marine tanks
Features:
Iodine must be regularly added to the aquarium. It has the characteristic of precipitating very rapidly, which is further accelerated by the addition of ozone, filtering through coal or the addition of a desiccant. Furthermore iodine is deteriorated by the effect of light. A deficiency of iodine prevents the growth of invertebrates and corals, and leads to discoloration. The echinoderms require iodine for the growth of the shell, the crustaceans and the shrimps for the hardening of the chitin armor after the molt. Regular administration of iodine is essential for the long-term treatment of Xenia colonies and various types of algae, such as several species of Caulerpa, Halimeda and many brown algae.
