SICCE ALKALINITY is formulated to increase and maintain the stable as possible alkalinity (KH ) and the pH of the marine aquarium . It has been specially developed to meet the high requirements of carbonates and borates of an aquarium reef with hard corals .
Recommend to maintain a pH between 8.0 and 8.3 and an alkalinity between 2.9 and 4.0 meq . / L ( 8 - 11 dKH ) .
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
30 ml of the product in 100 liters of seawater increase the alkalinity by about 1 ° dKH :
ALKALINITY Pour slowly and in an area of strong movement so as not to generate any precipitate or deposit which might harm the delicate marine invertebrates.
Do not increase the value of KH more than one degree every 3 hours. It is recommended to check weekly alkalinity ( dKH ) and then adjust the integration according to the actual consumption in the case of high demand , subdivided into several doses .
