Informations:
Protazol is a water treatment against external parasites such as Icthyophthirius multifilis, Ichthyobodo (Costial, Chilodonella, Trichodina, Saprolegnia, Achlya) in freshwater aquariums.
Direction for use:
Shake well before using. Add 1ml Protazol for each 20 litres (5,3 US gallons) of water. Distribute the treatment on the water surface from the dosage cup while stirring it into the water with a spoon or a staff. Biological filters may remain in operation, but should be cleaned before treatment in case of heavy pollution. Swich off the UV lamps. Carry out a water change of at last 80% after 24 hours. In case of water turbidity occurring in the meantime , carry out the water change immediately. Dead Icthyophthirius parasites, may remain visible as diffuse whitish dots for about two day. Usually, one single application is sufficient. Repeat treatment after about 4-5 days in severe cases. Do not overdose, as already weakend fish may react more sensitive.
Advertence:
- Keep under lock and key and out of reach of childrens and pets.
- Avoid contact with skin and eyes.
- Store at room temperature (15° - 25°C / 59° - 77°F) and away from light.
- Not to be used in conjunction with animals used for human consumption.
- Do not use past the expiration of the best before date.
- Do not combine with medications.
