Sera KH-PH Plus is a bioconditioner used to increase the carbonate hardness, pH, and to ensure stability of thriving plants in both freshwater and sea.
Too low carbonate is often the cause of pH values very unstable and a stunted growth of plants. KH values between 5 ° and 10 ° create optimal conditions in the aquarium and stable communities and provide the foundation for a luxuriant growth of plants. Cichlids of Lakes Malawi and Tanganyika require higher values. Marine aquarium KH value must be over 12 ° KH.
