Product: Sera Gravel Washer - 14 cm
With the SERA gravel washer you can easily and thoroughly remove waste from the aquarium gravel and simultaneously carry out a partial water change.
Instruction for use:
Keep the end of the hose closed with your thumb. Put the cylinder into the water and fill it with water.
Lift the cylinder vertically out of the water and wait until the air has been released and the hose is filled with water.
Now submerse the cylinder again and hold it as shown in the picture so that the air escapes.
Then put the cylinder into the aquarium gravel. Take your thumb off the hose end and the water will automatically drain.
Once you have drained as much aquarium water as was needed, you can also carry out smaller cleaning jobs.
Advice:
When working with the sera gravel washer make sure that you don’t clean the gravel in an diameter of about 2 cm (0.8 in.) around each plant. Thus you won’t harm the sensitive roots of your aquarium plants.
