Directions for use test pH:

Shake well before using the reagent!

  1. Rinse the tube several times with water to be tested and then fill it up to the sign of 5 ml. Dried, then, the tube externally.
  2. Add 4 drops of reagent.
  3. Close the tube with its cap and shake it slightly. Remove the cover.
  4. Compare the colors immediately, putting the tube on the chromatic scale, looking down from the light of day but not in the presence of sunlight.
  5. The value is determined by the color of the reagent compared with the chromatic scale.
  6. Clean: before and after each test is necessary to clean the tube thoroughly with tap water.

Directions for use test GH:

Shake well before using the reagent!

  1. Rinse the tube several times with water to be tested and then fill it up to the sign of 5 ml. Dried, then, the tube externally.
  2. The reagent is added in drops. E 'need shake the tube after each drop added until the color changes from red to brown and the last straw to a dark green.
  3. The number of drops used is the total water hardness (° dGH), pe 5 drops = 5 ° dGH.
  4. Clean: before and after each test is necessary to clean the tube thoroughly with tap water.

Instructions for use Test KH:

Shake well before using the reagent!

  1. Rinse the tube several times with water to be tested and then fill it up to the sign of 5 ml. Dried, then, the tube externally.
  2. The reagent is added in drops. After each drop must shake the tube continuing to add drops until the color of the test goes from blue to green and then yellow.
  3. The number of drops used is the carbonate hardness (° DHK), pe 5 drops = 5 ° DHK.
  4. Clean: before and after each test is necessary to clean the tube thoroughly with tap water.

Directions for use test NH3/NH4:

Shake well before using the reagents!

  1. Rinse the tube several times with water to be tested and then fill it up to the mark of 10 ml, if you make the measurement with fresh water and up to 5 ml if the measurement made with sea water. Dried, then, the tube externally.
  2. Add 6 drops of reagent 1, respectively, and shake the tube (for Flapping closed with its lid).
  3. Remove the lid, add 6 drops of reagent 2 and agitated.
  4. Remove the lid, add 6 drops of reagent 3 and agitated.
  5. Compare the color after 5 minutes, putting the tube on the color scale on the white side, looking down from the light of day but not in the presence of sunlight.
  6. Determined the value and according to the pH value can determine the content of poisonous ammonia with the help of the table attached to the instructions for use.
  7. Clean: before and after each test is necessary to clean the tube thoroughly with tap water.

Instructions for use Test NO2

Shake well before using the reagents!

  1. Rinse the tube several times with water to be tested and then fill it up to the sign of 5 ml. Dried, then, the tube externally.
  2. Respectively, add 5 drops of reagent 1 and 2.
  3. Close the tube with its cap and shake it. Remove the cover.
  4. Compare the color after 3-5 minutes, putting the tube on the chromatic scale, looking down from the light of day but not in the presence of sunlight.
  5. Clean: before and after each test is necessary to clean the tube thoroughly with tap water.

The test reveals the following water quality:
       - NO2-N: 5.0 mg / l and NO2: 16.5 mg / l = lethal immediately change a substantial amount of water, adding the products as described above.
       - NO2-N: 1.0 mg / l and NO2: 3.3 mg / l = very dangerous; made a partial water change adding the products as described above.
       - NO2-N: 0.5 mg / l and NO2: 1.6 mg / l = harmful; made a partial change of water adding the products as described above
       - NO2-N: 0.3 mg / l and NO2: 0.9 mg / l = not bad, look for the causes of the malfunction of the filter.
       - NO2-N: <0.1 mg / l and NO2: <0.3 mg / l = good quality, don't worry.

Directions for use test Nitrates/NO3:

Shake well before using the reagents!

  1. The clean tube is rinsed several times with water to control and fill it up to the mark of 20 ml. It 'important to dry the tube externally.
  2. Add 6 drops of reagent 1 and a teaspoon (attached to the package) reagent 2. Close the tube with its cap and shake for 15 seconds.
  3. Reopen the tube and add 6 drops of reagent 3. Closes the tube, shake and then reopen it.
  4. After 5 minutes you can compare the colors, placing the tube on the paper and watching the colors from the color chart in the light of day but not under the direct sun.
  5. If the color of the water in the tube was of a dark red means that the nitrate content is higher than 40 mg / l. E 'to repeat the test by diluting the water to be tested.
  6. To do this the clean tube was rinsed repeatedly with water to check, and then fill it up to the 10 ml mark by adding, to get to 20 ml distilled water. As distilled water can be used only sera Dest or distilled water purchased at pharmacies. The distilled water from supermarkets, that for the iron or the battery is not suitable. Do the measurement as described in Section 2. and 3.
  7. The color obtained with this measurement to be compared again with the color chart. Be careful to read the value in row "10 ml + 10 ml"!
  8. If even now the color of the water in the tube was of a dark red means that the nitrate content is higher than 80 mg / l. And 'the measurement should be repeated using 5 ml of water to be tested + 15 ml of water dest. and were it not yet sufficiently diluted, repeat the test with 2 ml + 18 ml water dest. It 'important to read the values in corresponding rows, and in this way can be detected values up to 400 mg / l.
  9. Clean: After you pour the contents of the tube in the sink is important to wash the tube very well under the jet of water from the tap.

Directions for use test Phosphate/PO4:

Shake well before using the reagents!

  1. The clean tube is rinsed several times with water to control and fill it up to the mark of 20 ml. It 'important to dry the tube externally.
  2. Add 6 drops of reagent 1 and shake gently.
  3. Add 6 drops of reagent 2 and shake gently.
  4. Add a teaspoon (attached to the package) Satin reagent 3, close the tube with the lid and shake briefly. Remove the cover.
  5. The colors should be compared after exactly 5 minutes, putting the tube on the chromatic scale and watching the colors from the light of day but not under the direct sun.
  6. If the examination does not reveal any blue staining is a water free of phosphates. If the color was dark blue, the water in question contains a phosphate concentration higher than 2.0 mg / l.  Need to repeat the test with a larger dilution of the water to be tested. This will be necessary even if the color of the water would not permit their clear determination of the color.
  7. Do the measurement as described in paragraphs 2, 3 and 4.
  8. The color obtained with this measurement to be compared again with the color chart. Be careful to read the value in row "10 ml + 10 ml"!
  9. If even now the color of the water in the tube was of a dark blue means that the value of phosphate is 4.0 mg / l or more. And 'the measurement should be repeated using 5 ml of water to be tested + 15 ml of water dest. and were it not yet sufficiently diluted, repeat the test with 2 ml + 18 ml water dest. It 'important to read the values in corresponding rows, and in this way can be detected values up to 20.0 mg / l.
  10. Clean: before and after each test is necessary to clean the tube thoroughly with tap water.

  4. Compare the color after 3 minutes, putting the tube on the chromatic scale, looking down from the light of day but not in the presence of sunlight.
  5. Clean: before and after each test is necessary to clean the tube thoroughly with tap water.
  6. Different concentrations of iron and judgments / countermeasures to be taken:

0.0 mg / l = no food for the plants, fertilizer immediately.
0.25 mg / l = nutrient reserves are running out; fertilized with half dose.
0.5-1.0 mg / l = ideal concentration of nutrient data from Sera Florena ( Inorganic fertilizer track based on iron)
2.0 mg / l = concentration too high, the fish are behaving abnormally, made a partial change of water with the addition of Sera and Sera Aqutan nitrivec.
