Seachem Zeolite is a natural, extremely porous material capable of bonding ammonia and heavy metals through an ion exchange process.
Its ability to immobilize ammonia is greater than any other zeolite; Ten times higher than many other products and twice as compared to competing zeolites.
It also removes metallic materials such as lead, copper, nickel and zinc. Many zeolites reduce the level of calcium, whereas Seachem Zeolite is able to increase its level of 10-15 ml / L. However it is not able to increase the total hardness in freshwater aquariums, where ion exchange is lower.
Seachem Zeolite is available in a variety of sizes, packaged in ready-to-use socks or canisters. The fine grain size guarantees maximum performance with minimum footprint. |
