BLQ Booster provides a high bioavailability (not further oxidised) carbon source for important bacteria for critical processes of nitrification and denitrification and for assimilation by corals and invertebrates.
BLQ Booster is an effective product to accelerate growth and stimulate reproduction of natural bacteria in marine aquariums, particularly bacterial cultures such as BLQ1 and BLQ23. It keeps the right C-N-P ratio at 100-5-1 (Carbon-Nitrogen-Phosphorus)
It is free of sugars and alcohol, not flammable. Appropriate use of BLQ Booster reduces nitrates and phosphates at very low levels, ensuring a cleaner and more healthy environment.
Use and dosage:
During use, monitor levels of nitrates and phosphates.
In densely populated systems: 1 cap (5 ml) every 500 l of water once per day; Measure the level of phosphates and nitrates. When these are no longer measurable, halve the dose and adjust it to maintain the correct levels.
For systems with low organic load: 1 cap (5 ml) every 500 l of water twice a week. Measure the level of phosphates and nitrates and adjust the dose according to the measurement and maintain the correct levels. |
