Haquoss KH BUFFER significantly increases the carbonate hardness (KH) in sea water, stabilizing it at optimal levels (>8°). Check the KH value at least once a week. A correct value stabilizes the pH and favors the growth of coral skeletons while an accurate level of carbonate hardness is essential to stabilize the pH itself. A sudden drop in carbonate concentration in the aquarium can completely interrupt the nitrification process, therefore the recommended level of KH in marine aquariums is 6.5°-8.5° (dKH).
DOSAGE: Dissolve 40gr in 1lt of osmotic water. The dosage should be determined by the results of the water test. 100ml of this solution increases the KH level in 100lt of water by 2.5°(dKH). Increase the KH level by no more than 0.5°(dKH) per day.
We recommend the combination with HAQUOSS CALCIUM BOOSTER and HAQUOSS MAGNESIUM BOOSTER to stabilize both these elements on which the KH also depends. |
