Based on bituminous coal, it consists of huge volumes of mezopores and macropores and is suitable for the absorption of a wide range of organic pollutants with minimal impact on trace minerals and pH, thanks also to the very low ash content. Particularly effective for the removal of phenols, dissolved organic compounds and toxic gases in brackish and freshwater marine systems, it boasts a very high absorption capacity with an iodine index higher than 1100 and the presence of incommensurable phosphates. |
