ReBalance GH + is a mixture of salts for the reintegration of total hardness (generally referred to as GH, from the German term Gesamthärte). In the aquarium the replenishment of the total hardness, separate from that of the alkalinity, may be necessary on some specific occasions. Particularly when there is something in the tank that unbalances the water chemistry in favor of bicarbonates. That is when something (for example limestone) releases bicarbonates in the water. In these circumstances, it is possible to try to rebalance Alkalinity (KH) and GH through an appropriate combination of the following two actions: 1) Replacement of part of the water in the tank with osmosis water, until the alkalinity (KH) is lowered and brought to the desired value 2) Reconstitution of the total hardness (GH), through ReBalance GH +, until it reaches the desired value.
