Product: Brightwell Aquatics NeoZeo 1Kg (granulometry mixture of Zeolite Media)
Physical State: Solid
Formats Available: 1Kg
- A mixture of exclusive zeolite media for the selective removal of organic matter through absorption and ion-molecular substances are removed through the removal passive benefits made by bacteria that colonize, the combined result of these processes produces a quality improvement water and makes an important source of food (bacterioplancton) for corals and other organisms that feed on suspended particles.
- Used in conjunction with Brightwell Aquatics Reef MicrōBacter7 and biofuel, is helping to create a biological filter and to maintain an environment poor in nutrients, all of this with the intention to achieve a perfect coloring of the corals without the interference of the zooxanthellae.
- Create a place colonized by the microorganisms responsible for nitrification, denitrification and the elimination of organic waste.
The zeolites are natural minerals with specific properties of ion exchange, mainly ion exchange with the surrounding environment (in this case the aquarium water).
NēoZeo is a mixture of zeolites that selectively remove ammonia and other monovalent cations from seawater (not divalenti bind cations such as calcium, magnesium, strontium and other elements in minor or trace) ion exchange with potassium, although this is not the main reason of the benefits to water quality from the media;
the reason for the effectiveness of zeolites is to be found primarily in the colonization of the broad surface of the media by appropriate types of microorganisms Remineralizing, such as those contained in MicrōBacter7, which help to eliminate concentrations of organic material the Aquarium.
The ultimate goal for an aquarium that uses this method is to maintain a balance between the intake of nutrients and their disposal, this balance is different in each aquarium and takes time before they are identified to achieve the desired risulatati.
The spectacular coral coloration is achieved by the reward for having invested the time required to locate and obtain this balance (always considering the presence of parameters and illumination optimal).
The rate at which nutrients are eliminated, often exceeds that of taking the same nutrients, especially in aquariums that are rarely fed. To help the population of microorganisms in NēoZeo to remain at stable levels could be a consistent integration of carbon sources; Biofuel Reef performs this task in an effective manner without polluting the water.
Once stabilized, the population of microorganisms, it is advisable to make occasional additions MicrōBacter7, to replace those that were lost in the water column (becoming part of the plankton and then preyed by corals, sponges, etc..), It is obviously necessary to administer MicrōBacter7 when replaces NēoZeo.
Instructions and Guidelines:
Rinse the material in fresh water before inserting into the system.
We must remember that NēoZeo Eliminator is a highly efficient ammonium and that the corals that have become accustomed to the presence of this substance may show an initial negative response to the rapid removal of this ion.
This is a reaction that occurs mainly in aquariums undertaken by many; aquariums that use the "System NēoZeo" from the outset not show these effects related to the presence of ammonium.
The following recommendations are based on extensive research and produce the best results in most of the aquarium:
Weeks 1 and 2: every week put in an appropriate reactor, 200 g of each 4000 liters NēoZeo ca. water, brought the flow of water through the reactor at ~ 25 gph (94.6 LPH). Add each day, 5 ml MicrōBacter7 every 400 liters approx. of water.
Weeks 3 and 4: every week put in an appropriate reactor, 200 g for every 400 liters NēoZeo ca. the water system, increased the flow of water through the reactor up to ~ 50 gph (189.3 LPH). Add each day, 2.5 ml of MicrōBacter7 and Reef Biofuel every 400 liters approx. of water.
Week 5: Put in an appropriate reactor, 200 g for every 400 liters NēoZeo ca. the water system, increase the flow of water in up to ~ 100 GPH (378.5 LPH). Add each day, 2.5 ml of MicrōBacter7 and Reef Biofuel every 400 liters approx. of water.
Once the past 5 weeks, appropriate dosages of MicrōBacter7 and Reef Biofuel as the appearance of the aquarium, the health of its inhabitants and the parameters found in the water. For additional information, refer to the instructions written on the labels for each entry.
Every 6 weeks change 25% of NēoZeo and add each day for a week, 2.5 ml MicrōBacter7 and Biofuel Reef every 400 liters approx. water, then back to the usual doses. Because of its extreme natural porosity and speed with which it is colonized by bacteria, with time, NēoZeo is subject to impact with latent organic material and bacterial biomass. It 'important to remove, gently, from this material zeolite, shaking manually (follow the instructions of your rector of zeolite), or increasing the flow of water through the reactor core.
The organic material removed will become food for many inhabitants of the aquarium and will also be eliminated through the skimmer.
