Lowers the pH safely in freshwater aquariums with plants and communities . It can also be used in marine aquariums.

Gradually lowers the alkalinity ( carbonate hardness ) of tap water and aquarium.

Useful to lower the pH of the aquarium when it is necessary to establish the conditions of acidity in water biotope aquariums , simulating the arrival of the rainy season , or to stimulate spawning in fish species from environments with low pH.

Contains no substances based buffer phosphates; does not increase the nutrients phosphate-based or nitrogen in the aquarium.
