Product: Blu Bios Test PO4
In nature in unpolluted waters of phosphate content does not exceed 1.0 mg / l.
Aquarium or pond but we can attain to more than 10.0 mg / l
This is due to an excessive number of fish to a feed with a high content of phosphates and fertilizers that contain phosphates.
Many phosphates in combination with high values of nitrates determine an excessive growth of algae.
For this reason you need to regularly check the content of phosphates and nitrates in your aquarium or in your garden pond.
A too high concentration of phosphate (in the freshwater aquarium and pond should be less than 1.0 mg / l, in the marine aquarium of less than 0.1 mg / l) is lowered with regular water changes (weekly in reason of 10-30% of the total capacity) and / or with the introduction of fast-growing plants
