Test for the measurement of nitrate in seawater
Food scraps, manure and other organic waste of fish present in an aquarium or a pond are decomposed by bacteria in stages. The final product of this decomposition is nitrate.
Contrary to the first decomposition products (ammonia and nitrite), the nitrate is not harmful to fish, even if present in large amounts. D 'on the other hand it is a nutrient for aquatic plants and algae.
If it is present in large amounts, it is likely to proliferate green algae. The nitrates become dangerous in case of lack of oxygen in 'water. In this case, release oxygen and will reshape into toxic nitrite.
The Sea Test NO3 allows you to monitor nitrate levels in the tank in order to remedy situations of potential danger.
The content of the package enables up to 40 measurements.
